About Us

The family behind every fence.

Estrada Fencing & Outdoor Living is a family-owned Dallas County company built on one simple idea: build it right, and stand behind it.

Meet Jorge

Owner-run, owner-present.

Estrada isn’t a franchise or a call center. Jorge, the owner whose name is on the truck, is the same person who walks your yard, prices your project, and checks the work before we call it done.

We started Estrada because we kept seeing the same thing across Dallas, fences leaning, sagging, and rotting years before they should. Not because of bad wood, but because they were rushed and set wrong. So we built a company around the opposite: our own trained crews, posts set deep in real concrete, premium materials chosen for North Texas heat and clay, and a written warranty behind every job.

Cedar privacy fence, custom gate, or a full backyard build, we treat your property like it’s our own, because our name and our reputation ride on it.

What you can count on

Three promises we don’t break

01

Set right, stands for years

The install is the product. Deep posts, real concrete, in-house crews, no shortcuts, the reason our fences don’t lean.

02

The owner’s on it

You’ll meet the person whose name is on the truck, on your job, not a rep who vanishes after the deposit clears.

03

Backed in writing

A real, written workmanship warranty. If something we set isn’t right, we come back and make it right.

How we actually work

The short version is on this page already. What follows is the part people usually ask about once they have had two or three other companies out to quote.

Why the install matters more than the material

Almost every failed fence we replace failed at the post, not at the picket. The wood was fine. It was set shallow, or set in dirt, or set in a hole barely wider than the post itself. Dallas sits on Blackland Prairie clay that swells when it rains and pulls away when it dries, and that movement works a shallow post loose a little at a time until a wet spring finishes the job.

Our own crews, not subcontractors

The crew on your property works for Estrada. That matters less as a slogan than as a practical thing: the person setting your posts is someone Jorge has trained and will see again next week, not a day crew that is unlikely to be on the same job twice. It is also why we can put a workmanship warranty in writing without hedging it.

What we will tell you that others might not

Sometimes the answer is that you do not need a new fence, only a few posts reset. Sometimes it is that the fence you have been quoted for will not pass your association's spec, or that a pool gate will not clear inspection as drawn. We would rather lose the larger job and be the company you call the next time. See fence repair or a fence inspection if you are not sure which one you have.

Where we work
